Do you hold a grudge and remember from this??

Posted by Comments (3)

Question by MsBliss: Do you hold a grudge and remember from this??
I am working it so very hard to raise funds for my Multiple Sclerosis Society Challenge Walk. I am registered to walk 50 miles in three days in San Diego in Sept… I have to raise $ 2500 to even do this. and it has to be up front. It is alot of money to raise!

My family has given me nothing! I have 3 eldest sisters.. all of who can afford something. My husband has MS so this is a cause deep to my heart. My sister closest to me in age did give me $ 20. ( She could afford 10x this )

My co-workers dodge me every time I ask for a donation.. but I am the first to give them money for thier kids schools.. bands ect. I have emailed that link to our 200 employees 2-3 times.. only my immediate manager has given me anything. I have listiened to coworkers go on and on how they raised money for the 3 day breast cancer walk.. but still no money.

I had to look to outside sources. Local business, cake sals and yard sales… it is better than trying to rely on my friends&family.
I don’t want to sound like a scrooge, but I feel like telling the colleagues when the envelope comes around.. I don’t remember you giving to my cause. I have donated all I could to my own cause….

My family is just pathetic… and the all love my husband.. who has to work very deligently at keeping his symptoms at bay.. with lots of meds and treatment.

Why as so many people so apathetic?

Sorry.. I do know my close family’s situations. My eldest sister just tossed my 16 yo neice a bday to the tune of a couple thousand dollars.
