Breakthrough Surgery Helps, but Not Available in Canada

SAANICH – A Saanich woman who’s back from Poland after having a procedure to treat Multiple Sclerosis, says Canada has let her down. Valerie MacNeil says her quality of life has improved 100% since her liberation treatment. Now another island woman is travelling to Mexico, hoping the breakthrough surgery could give her her life back. But both women and many others living with MS want to know why they can’t have the surgery at home.
